We have a standard cut out position for the deadlock barrel, but this may not be suitable for the position of your deadlock barrel. Please send pictures of the damage you have to your van to our office (With a ruler showing the distance between your deadlock and the edge of the door and also a ruler showing the distance of the damage away from the deadlock and edge of the door). If the position of your deadlock barrel is not compatible with our standard position, then a custom repair shield will need to be manufactured for you. This may be possible for us to do, but this will be subject to the additional custom fabrication charge shown in the drop down option above and additional time to manufacture the part.

The problem? If a thief has attempted to attack the deadlocks on the side load door of your VW T7 van and left you with damage near to your deadlock.
The solution! This Shield is a development by Sussex Installations to give you a good cost effective repair solution if you have a hole in the near-side load door of your VW T7 van and/or to make your VW T7 van more secure against this type of hole through the door attack in the future. Made from high corrosion resistant grade stainless steel and designed by us at Sussex Installations match the body styling of your VW T7 van, our shield comes complete with gasket, stainless steel nuts, stainless steel washers and a fitting instruction document.

We suggest that you also fit our internal latch shield for the side load door of your VW T7 van, regardless if you have the external shield fitted or not!
Want colour coding? What can I expect?
We are happy to now offer our new colour coding service. But be aware that although we will be painting the shield to the colour code of your van, we will not be matching the variant shade of that colour to your van in the way that a body shop would (if they were repairing your van). With the metallic colours the metallic flake distribution some time shines in different ways so can cause a blotchy look from certain angles.
Van colours can change over time and also have very slight variants depending on how the paint was mixed at the factory. We will take great care and consideration when painting your shield at our in house paint facility and give you real value for your money, but it is important that you realise that the colour may not be a perfect match to your van. It will however make the shield much more in keeping with your van than a brushed stainless steel or Matte black powder coated shield would.
