Van was broken into on Tuesday, after a call on Wednesday the van was booking in for Thursday morning. All new deadlocks fitted and they put on extra large cover plates so we didnt have to replace the damaged doors!

Was invaluable to have the vehicle back on the road by noon Thurday, excelent service.

Its a shame so many vans are getting broken into, but its brilliant to know when you do get done you have amazing people to get you back earning money ASAP!

That's a second time I've used their services. This time before someone tried to break into our van. Unfortunately that wasn't the case the first time, but we have learned from it.

Sussex installations have very kindly installed 4 deadlocks and 2 slam locks to my Citroen berlingo van, along with a central locking wiring alteration.

The installation was amazing, very neat and didn't take very long at all; I am so happy with the result. I definitely feel better knowing that my van is far more secure now.

The installation team down at Sussex installations are great; very knowledgeable, friendly and take their time to make sure you know how to use the locks effectively.

The customer service was excellent. I was not available during the week to get the locks fitted, so they kindly made themselves available for a Saturday.

There are tonnes of videos on their website about each type of lock, maintaining the locks, individual vehicles and their compatible products etc.

The company take each vehicle, look at the weak points and find solutions to tackle them.

Quality van locks, decided to install myself. Instructions were clear, have had the locks on my van for a few weeks and they work perfectly. Next to zero movement in the doors if you forget to unlock these and try to open the doors. Im confident my van is much more secure. Will definitely buy again for future vans.

After a bit of research following one of our fleet being broken into, we decided to try one of the internal latch plates. Quality is very good and really sturdy once installed. Installation instructions are really easy to follow and was installed in about half hour. Can't report on how well it works and hopefully won't ever have to but at least it's the weak point of the latch covered

The license plates are very easy to install and fit the bodywork perfectly. For the locks, you need to know a little bit about DIY, but there are installation instructions with diagrams.

I bought a new Transit Custom back in 2019 and the team at Sussex Installations arranged to come up to my house in Croydon and fit the Platinum Package.

The service was excellent and they've helped me a few times with spares and advice over the years.

I'm now planning to pop down to Eastbourne to add internal and external shields to the rear / side doors as a preventative measure and to try and deter thieves from testing my deadlocks.

I highly recommend Sussex Installations and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my van.

Sussex Installations know through years of experience and their incredible customer service, how to add another layer of security to your van to help tradespeople not become another victim of vehicle crime. Their products are rigorously designed and tested to deter the opportunists who commit tool theft. Their Lock shield's and locks are made from high quality Stainless steel. I can't fault the service they supply, from booking to installation the process was extremely smooth, really can't recommend them highly enough. We are a repeat customer, they even colour coded our external Lock Shield, which was a really nice touch to finish off an excellent job.

Really a breath of fresh air to deal with Charlotte at Sussex Installations, I can't praise them enough honestly. I found this company during lockdown on line , I was in the process of starting my own business with a lot of equipment going in to my van ie tools etc , after finding Jeff online posting videos about security on Vauxhall vivaro vans I looked no further , I booked in and drive 3 hours to them where they had my van fitted out with a package for me , it was more then I could ask for , 4 years later I took another van to Jeff and had another fitted out with same gear slam locks hook locks etc , I am always very impressed with what Jeff and his team has done on my vans and would suggest no one looks else where, I wanted originally not to have to travel that far but after looking locally where I live the reviews from a different company was things like drilled hole in wrong place , locks don't function, etc so I took a day off work and traveled to Jeff's , dropped van off at 9.30 took my dog for a walk all round the sea side for 4 hours a bit of lunch and had a bag of chips and found a lovely pub only minutes away from Jeff's a cheeky few pints and bang it was 4.30 and they where calling me to say it was ready , a swift walk round a few roads and bingo van was all done perfectly, I will always use this company the next time I have to replace the van it will be going straight to Jeff 👍👍

I had 6 vehicles secured in 2018, I am pleased to say that in 2024 I am still recieving 5 star after sales service and could not be hapier.

This fantastic company should not be overlooked, they are the best.

I've been following Sussex installations on social media for many years, to me they have always been the most knowledgeable van security company in the UK. I have just purchased the internal latch plates for my van and fitted them myself. baring in mind these are a product designed and manufactured in-house by Sussex Installations which have been made specifically to try and combat the van break-in epidemic. I didn't know what to expect when ordering online but the quality of products and the level or detail in the instruction manuals were fantastic. There are even a full set of photos specifically for my vehicle to aid the process and I managed to install them with ease. These are SOLID plates which fit perfectly into my the doors of my vehicle.

My van was broken into and within a week the damage was made safe (using their specifically designed armour plates). Which were self fitted.

Then within another week I went to their workshop where their engineers fitted more deadlocks to my van. The quality of workmanship is top notch and their staff are up to date on their knowledge of how vans need securing.

Fitted all of the locks over a year ago and the instructions couldn't be more clear. Unfortunately some little toad still tried and drilled out the side door of my van so installed the repair plate. Again, a simple installation with the instructions supplied. A*****

5/5 Brought the side and rear shields and internal guard for transit, instructions on how to fit them were well detailed and clear with images and super easy to fit ( yes you have to drill though your van but a very simple processes), next day delivery as promised, Would Highly Recommend having them fitted. Found out about this company from watching Skillbuilder on YouTube.I live in Europe and have a left hand drive Transit. Most of my family still live in the UK and recently went to visit them.I don't carry tools in my van but occasionally carry expensive bikes and have been a little paranoid about leaving them in the van. Sussex Installations to the rescue. I took the opportunity to stop off in Eastborne to have my van made secure before moving on to other parts of the UK. I wasn't sure if having a left hand drive would be a problem but SI assured me everything would be ok. Warm greeting when I dropped my van off, procedure was explained, regular phone updates re progress and work completed in a timely and professional manner. What's not to like. Would definitely recommend.It would also seem that that the security work has already paid for itself. Whilst I was visiting the Milton Keynes area I went to visit part of the Grand Union Canal. Car park was isolated but not that far from houses/civilisation. Came back from the walk with no idea of anything being untoward. Next day, when I was driving my van, heard a strange noise. Upon investigation I discovered that someone had used a disc cutter to cut the cable holding my spare wheel in place under the vehicle. I can't be 100% certain but I believe that, if it wasn't for the security features fitted onto my van, the thieving individual would have gained access to the inside of my van and stolen my bike that was in the back.By pure coincidence, of course, a brand new and unused spare wheel (fitting the description off my late departed one) appeared on EBay 2 days later. Collection in person wasn't available.

I love this company! They fitted an alarm to my van back in 2019 and did an amazing job. Then 4 years later I have a problem with my keys not working - "Immobiliser active" is the message I'm getting so I give them a call thinking this is something to do with what they fitted. They were able to tell me exactly what they fitted (no immobiliser fitted by them) and suggest possible routes to solve the problem - which is now all fixed. After seeing Jeff's videos, I knew this guy knows exactly what he was talking about! My van has the hook locks already installed so I ordered the inner and outer shields and the peel and steel lock. It all came well packaged with great installation instructions! It took me about a day to install. Absolutely well chuffed how it turned out. Wow, I booked Sussex Installations to fit additional locks and a security plate to my Ducato based campervan back in early January, for fitting during a camping trip in late April. All went to plan. We were able to have a superb full English breakfast at The Sisters cafe nearby and walk into and look around Eastbourne before getting a call to say the locks and plate were done. The locks and plate look and perform as they should and the installers and office were staff were lovely.

I chose Sussex Installations to fit extra security on my van after having a proper conversation with Charlotte on the phone. She listened to me respectfully and was able to advise me on exactly what was needed to provide me with the most appropriate security extras. They came out &fitted the Platinum package to my van hook locks ,stainless steel plates to back barn doors,&sliding side door, with an update to the existing alarm system with sensor to detect movement in the back of the van. The work was very clean & professional & explained everything left me lubricant for the new locks told me when to lubricant them I was very impressed with this service mobile van to where I was working. I travelled from Kent to Sussex to have a full security package installed by Sussex Installations. The premises are easy to find and very professional as are all the staff. Sussex Installations completed all the security upgrades to my van, including alarm, dead locks etc in a very professional manner and quicker than I had expected. I had originally learnt about Sussex Installations via a couple of well known YouTube bloggers, who themselves, highly recommended Sussex Installations.In these difficult and troubling times, it is very difficult to have to except that there are scum bags out there who want to steal tools from vans, rather than do an honest days work themselves. I found this company on YouTube and the video I viewed showed they really knew what they were doing. They are based in Eastbourne so not local to me, but I decided to make the journey as I wanted things done properly. I was really surprised just how good the work was, I had external locks fitted and no panels rippled, they fitted an alarm, immobiliser and tracker. When he showed me the work under the bonnet, I couldn't tell which was the new wiring loom compared to original. The attention to these details really stood out. I can't recommend them highly enough. If you have the same experience as me you won't be disappointed.

Excellent service!

I have no hesitation in recommending Sussex Installations as an excellent firm for van security. Due to the well documented delays in the delivery of new vehicles I had been in contact with Sussex Installations since April 2021 ... I finally took delivery of my Fiat Ducato van conversion in January this year. During this time I had been in phone and email contact with Charlotte who gave good, clear advice on what I needed to improve the Fiat factory fitted security ...this meant secure key operated hook locks to all doors (cab, rear barn and side sliding doors) together with a Proplate on the driver's door (the only key entry point). On arrival at the workshop I was met by Danny who talked me through the installation process and the potential time-scale ... he also offered a lift into town if needed. The briefing was very friendly and clear. Later that morning I received a text to inform me that the job was almost complete (ahead of schedule) and that I could return to pick-up the van. I was then met by Matt who showed me the completed work and how to operate the locks. The installation was extremely neat and tidy. At this time I found out that Matt had also cleaned up some light surface rust on the door rail and a fair amount of small metal shavings which must have been the result of the window installation completed at the Elddis factory! Matt also offered advice on the products I needed to maintain the sliding door and as well as the locks he had installed. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. I found the whole process stress free and am very grateful for the peace of mind offered by the added security.

Got the side door security plate fitted to the damaged door and although it hides quite a large hole/ cut in the door you'd never tell, it looks factory fitted. Once again an excellent job by Charlotte and the team! When we change this van the first thing I will do is send the new one down to get the security plates fitted rather than wait for the inevitable damage and subsequent hassle. Highly recommended.

What a pleasure dealing with Sussex Installations, I never leave a review immediately but rather use the product first then let you know my views. The PLATINUM package I had installed is coming up for its one year anniversary and it is an absolute pleasure to use. It took a few days to get used to the set up but is very user friendly. So how was my experience? apart from the fact I had a million questions and my new van arrival date kept changing which Charlotte very patiently altered each time. The new workshop is huge and all the staff do know there stuff. On the day I arrived I had a few things added to my package, which was no problem. The install was a full day so I had a great day in Eastbourne. A full explanation was given and they insisted I demonstrate how everything functions. About 3 months later I unfortunately let the battery run flat, RAC popped out and got me going but for some reason my driver door was locked in the open position so therefore could not even close the door. It was a Saturday and I phoned Sussex Installations to be met with the answer machine, I left a message and thought they would never call back. How wrong was I, 5 minutes later Jeff himself called and he helped me resolve the issue over the phone, NOW THAT IS CUTOMER SERVICE!. In short they are a pleasure to deal with, but the best bit is you are kept up to date with any new changes they believe will improve your security. in fact I shall be adding to my security package soon. I picked up my van Friday afternoon. Although I had fully comp the insurance company told me I wouldn't be covered for theft until I had extra security fitted. Well what can I say these guys are phenomenal so helpful as I turned up there first thing in the morning after having my van broken into. they were brilliant fixing a fantastic steel shield to the back of my van straight away really good quality product made on site to you suit you particular van.I can't thank you enough and I will be using you services again very soon.

In addition to the functionality the extra security locks for vans should be striking in order to create warning and deterrent effects to the potential car burglars. However, it does not necessarily mean that the locks have to be bulky and ugly.The locks from Sussex Installations are optically subtle, but not to be overlooked at all. Among many other van locks they are most elegant one without diminishing levels of security. The functional high level security of the mechanism is convincing by all means.Despite the German customs charges caused by Brexit, I am very satisfied with the purchasing, above all in terms of the quality of the locks. HiI was going to drop you an mail, your locks saved my van on New Years Eve. Some low life used the cover of local fireworks. The drivers window was smashed but they could not open the drivers door. The alarm when off and a neighbour came out and found them trying to open the door from the inside and outside. They did not spot the 2 key locks on the door. They ran off when the neighbour challenged them. Your locks are now standard on all new vehicles. Thanks again

I had Matt from Sussex installations to do a platinum package on my Ford Transit custom sport van. Initially i spoke to Charlotte to get information and an appointment bookwd in. Charlotte was really knowledgeable, helpful and even sent me some after care information aftwr my install.
