Yes that's right, no van deadlocks from any manufacturer are Thatcham Accredited or Thatcham Approved since the 1st January 2019 when Thatcham had a major shake up of it's TQA (Thatcham Quality Assurance) and it's TRI (Thatcham Recognised Installer) schemes. The categories for the tracking products themselves (Thatcham Category 5 and 6) which have been around for along time, were removed and replaced with categories S5 and S7. Many insurance companies ar... [click here to read the full story]

He told us he had been in touch with Ford and that his van was not on their list to be recalled to have the security software implemented. Lucky for this customer he had seen the test I had instructed Ford Custom owners to do in my previous videos and knew that he was still vulnerable. So he drove d... History of the problemWe wrote about this problem in July 2018 after launching our external and internal shield set for the Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic, Nissan NV300 and Fiat Talento owners. But we have seen this hole in the back door break in method becoming increasingly more and more of a problem for owners of these model vans. The extent of the damage to the van is ... Sprinter Vans Being StolenWe have had increasingly more and more Mercedes Sprinter owners get in touch with us after their vans have been stolen or after they have found their van with the ignition barrel missing (due an attempted theft). Typically our approach is to recommend a multi-strategy security package and one of those strategies is to secure the manufacturer's weak point on the existing factory fitted security. The solution we offer to secure the manufacturer's weak point varies from one model van to another, as they all have different weak points.Problem! with some make / model vans it is just NOT... If you are the owner of one (or more) of the 2014 onwards shape Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic and Nissan NV300 / Fiat Talento model vans? then your biggest and most likely break in method will be through the rear door of your van by thieves putting a hole in your door to attack the latch mechanism.
