This is a new problem for vans, where thieves could use a range extender device to unlock your van while you are watching television, while you sleep, while you are at work or even while you are at the builders merchants.
Do you have keyless entry fitted to your new van? if so then thieves can use technology to easily steal your van or your tools at any opportunity.
Putting your key inside a RFID wallet at all times when you are not using your van is advised by us at Sussex Installations or switching the keyless feature off in your vehicle options (if that is possible).
