SUSSEX INSTALLATIONS - FOR1-RL REP LOCK - -
The Sussex Installations FOR-L1 Rep Lock with is a replacement lock for the driver's door factory fitted lock on the Ford Transit van. Having this lock fitted will stop thieves breaking into your van using the popular Ford Tibbe lock picking key. The problem with this lock decoder / picking key is that the tool is available on the internet for less than £25 and it seems that it is incredibly effective with thieves unlocking vans with them in as little as 5 seconds.
This replock now comes complete with a slip ring; which was previously only available for the Ford Custom and MK8 Transit.
The key style may vary from the one pictured, so please check with us before ordering if you have specific key requirements.
TVL type - Is a round key Hykee style
L4V type - Is a flat bladed dimple key that is used with their T Series locks
To sum up: both keys offer the same level of protection and are a suitable replacement for the manufacturer's lock, but we have added this as a choice for the minority of customers who have a preference to which lock they want so as to avoid disappointment if they receive one that they wasn't expecting.
The choice of lock will need to be made at the time of ordering your locks (please note that only the Locks 4 Vans style replock can work from the same key as the Locks 4 Vans deadlocks).

Nearly every day we get a call from a Ford Transit Owner who has been broken into, they are just not aware that they are so vulnerable!
