The problem? Thieves have come up with a new way to gain access to your Toyota Proace (2016-Onwards) vehicle by simply cutting through the front door Loom, causing £100's to repair damaged looms or even £10,000's replacing the vehicle!

Now available for the Toyota Proace (2016-Onwards) model, this device shields the exposed and vulnerable central locking wires which can be seen from the exterior and easily cut. 

Depending on what software version your body control module has may effect if this attack method is successful or not, however the installation of this product is probably a worthwhile prevention method reduce the chance of a thief damaging your wiring loom.

Cutting of the wiring loom can potentially unlock the van allowing access. Even if the van doesn't unlock, the cost and inconvenience of replacing the wiring loom can be high. Compared with the cost of replacing a wiring loom, this is a low cost but highly effective security upgrade that should be considered alongside additional products.
