The problem? We are frequently seeing direct attacks on the near side load doors of the Ford Transit Custom Vans, where thieves are either drilling or punching a hole through the bodywork at the back of the side load door this allows them to attack the van's latch mechanism and open up the door to steal tools or contents.
The solution! We designed this bespoke shield; to give an internal triple layer of protection in the most vulnerable areas. To help protect the Ford Transit Custom (2024 Onwards) factory fitted latch mechanism inside your side load door. Our shield wraps around to the face of the latch mechanism and secures into place with the existing bolts that hold your latch mechanism in place (no drilling or cutting required to fit this product).
You cannot see any visible difference on the outside of the van, although we include a 'shield fitted' sticker that you can stick onto the outside of your van if you want to make thieves aware that you have a shield inside your door. We also have different options for an external shield that can be fitted to cover over damage if your van has already been broken into or if you just want the extra security of having an external shield fitted straight away (see recommended products below).
*Full fitting instructions are provided and the installation can be done as a self installation, by your local mechanic, local van security expert or by our professional installation service (if you are in the South East of England or if you visit our workshop in Eastbourne).
