The problem? We are seeing a massive increase in cases whereby thieves are making a hole in the side load door of the Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic, Nissan NV300, Fiat Talento vans and attacking the latch directly!
The solution! This Shield is a development by Sussex Installations to give you a good cost effective repair solution if you have a hole in the near side load door of your Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic, Nissan NV300, Fiat Talento vans and/or to make your van more secure against this type of hole through the door attack in the future. Made from high corrosion resistant grade stainless steel to match the body styling of your van, our shield comes complete with gasket, stainless steel nuts, stainless steel washers and a fitting instruction document.
This large external repair shield is aimed at owners of vans that have already been broken into and need to cover up a hole in the side door and the hole is lower down in the door (where our standard sized external shield won't cover). If your hole is in a place that our 'Standard' size external shield will cover, then you may prefer to buy that shield instead of this one? Although WE REALLY CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH JUST HOW IMPORTANT IT IS THAT YOU ALSO PURCHASE OUR INTERNAL SHIELD IF YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR VAN MORE RESISTANT TO BEING BROKEN INTO!
In addition to having our shields fitted, we would also like to take this chance to remind you to always double lock your van from the remote control so that the internal release cables will not open the door up (don't double lock your van if you have left someone inside of it, as that will not be safe for them!)
