Mercedes Sprinter 2019 - Deadlocks, Catloc & ECU Shield - Sussex - London & The South East, Online Shop & Worldwide Delivery
This is a new shape Mercedes Sprinter that came from the factory with the Mercedes Alarm System and factory deadlocking from the remote control. We added our aftermarket T Series deadlocks to the cab and to the load area doors. The load area doors were the 2019 type hook lock; that has the longer hook than the 2018 version. We also fitted an ECU protector shield as theives have used an ECU swapping technique to steal Mercedes Sprinters for a good few years now and the shield that we have fitted would prevent easy plugging in of another ECU to this vehicle. Another thing that we fitted was a dual Catloc system to give protection to the Catalytic converter and DPF filter that is fitted to this vehicle. Theft of vehicles Catalytic converters can be a massive inconvenience to a vehicle owner or fleet operator as a vehicle with a catalytic converter missing is a vehicle that cannot be used, during peak times of catalytic converter theft new replacement parts have been on back order with up to a 3 month delay from some manufacturers due to them not being able to keep up with demand for them. The cost can also be Ł2,000+ for the replacement parts.
