Why fleets choose us

A standing arrangement, not a one-off job

Fleet operators and commercial vehicle sales people don't want to arrange fitting van by van as each driver happens to notice a break-in. They want a standing arrangement, so that vans on order or already in use get the same deadlocks and accessories fitted in a professional and reliable way, without it becoming a separate project every single time. We bring the same installation discipline to fleet work as to every single-owner job: accurate fitting, proper clean-down, corrosion protection and final testing.

Fleet capabilities

How fleet installations are arranged

The right approach depends on fleet size, vehicle mix and whether vans are already on the road or still on order. This is how we typically structure fleet work.

Multiple-vehicle installations

Book several vans in together, at your site or scheduled across our diary, rather than arranging each vehicle separately.

Consistent specification

The same lock and shield specification applied across every van in the fleet, so drivers and fitters know exactly what to expect on each vehicle.

New vans before they enter service

Security fitted to replacement or newly delivered vans before they go into daily use, rather than retrofitting after an incident.

Rollout scheduling

Vehicle replacement cycles and fleet rollouts can be scheduled in, so security fitting keeps pace as vans are added or replaced.

On-site at your business

Where practical, installation can take place at your business premises rather than every van needing to travel to us.

Leased & contract-hire vans

We can advise on suitable security for leased vehicles, subject to permission from the leasing or finance company before any work is carried out.

Real fleet work

Courier and commercial fleets we've already fitted

Fleet security work isn't limited to any one area or type of business — from courier operators to trade and service fleets, the same matching-specification approach applies across every vehicle.

Mobile workshop standard

Fleet fitting should not mean lowering the installation standard

Our dedicated mobile workshop vans are equipped around full-size petrol compressors, air receivers, tool storage and parts storage, so installers can carry out professional work at fleet premises — not a stripped-down version of a workshop job.

Accurate preparation

Product choice and fitting position are matched to each vehicle rather than assuming every van should receive the same solution regardless of model.

Clean-down

Compressed air is used to clear swarf and dust from door edges, hinges, seals and drain areas after cutting and drilling, on every van in the fleet.

Corrosion protection

Bare metal edges created during fitting are treated with corrosion inhibitor before final assembly and testing.

Professional deadlock installation is more than putting a lock in a door. Preparation, accurate cutting, clean-down, corrosion protection, alignment and final testing all matter — on one van, or fifty.

National coverage

How we cover fleets across the UK

Most of our own hands-on fitting is across the South East of England including London. That shouldn't put off a fleet operator based elsewhere — we don't want to turn away a national fleet enquiry just because head office isn't within reach of our Eastbourne workshop.

Common questions

Fleet & commercial van security: FAQs

What does the fleet van security service cover?

A complete fleet installation service fitting deadlocks, hook locks, slamlocks, internal Stealth security shields and external security shields to vans on order or already in use across a fleet, with a consistent specification applied to every vehicle.

Do you only work with fleets based in the South East?

No. Most of our own hands-on fitting takes place across the South East of England including London, but we welcome enquiries from large national fleets too, and can manage the work directly or coordinate it through trusted partners in other parts of the country where that's more practical.

Can vans be fitted with security before they are handed over to a driver?

Yes. Security can be fitted to vans on order or newly delivered before they go into daily use, as well as retrofitted to vehicles already in service.

Can you schedule installations around a fleet rollout or vehicle replacement cycle?

Yes. Vehicle replacement cycles and fleet rollouts can be scheduled in, so security fitting keeps pace as vans are added to or replaced within the fleet, rather than being arranged one van at a time as issues come up.

Can you fit security at our business premises?

Where practical, yes. Multiple vans can be fitted together at your site, or scheduled across our diary, rather than every vehicle needing to travel to us individually.

Can you fit security to leased or contract-hire fleet vans?

In many cases, yes, but any work on a leased or contract-hire vehicle should first be checked and agreed with the leasing or finance company, since the vehicle is not owned outright by the business. Once permission is confirmed, we can advise on suitable security.

How much does fleet van security cost?

We have a discount structure suitable for fleets, so fleet pricing is quoted rather than fixed to our standard single-vehicle pricing. It depends on the number of vehicles, products specified and location, so get in touch with the vehicle mix and site postcode and we'll provide a fleet quotation.

Who typically arranges fleet security fitting?

Fleet operators with multiple vans, and commercial vehicle sales people who need security deadlocks and accessories arranged for vehicles before or after they reach the end user.
