Vauxhall Vivaro / Renault Trafic hole in the door repair - ,

These are pictures of attacks by thieves where they made a hole in the rear back barn door of a Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic, Nissan NV300 or Fiat Talento van in order to steal tools or contents from the load area. This is a massive problem in the UK at the moment where the manufacturer has a massive weak point that allows thrives to break into these vans within seconds even if the vehicle owner has double locked his van using the remote control (which activates the electronic deadlocking). We recommend that all owners of these vans have these shields fitted as a precaution before they get broken into, but they can also serve as a repair solution too in most cases. Please note that the internal latch mechanism also gets damaged in some cases and so that may also need to be replaced by you purchasing the part from your local van main dealer.
