Citroen Berlingo 2016 - Armaplate Repair After Break in - ,

This is the driver's door of a 2016 Citroen Berlingo van after it was brutally attacked in order to unlock the load area of the van and for the thieves to then steal the owners tools.

The damage left by the attack was pretty bad with significant bodywork damage and internal handle parts that hold the handle in place broken.

Our technician 'Danny' managed to straighten the body work out enough to fit the Armaplate shield to the van and this shield also held the handle in place enough that the damaged parts still functioned. Of course it's not a perfect solution, but when faced with damaged that could cost hundreds or even in the thousands of pounds to repair, the Armaplate repair can be a good cost effective solution. 

We also fitted out slamlocks and rear door handle blank to the vehicle to give increased security.
